A zinnia continues to hold its own as the beauty isn't effected with a few aged spots showing here and there.

Peony and Tulips....
The flowers are getting a gentle rain this morning. It makes the soil and sub soil happier as our drought is less these days.

Iowa wild rose is the state flower. I keep finding evidence of our hard freeze on different plants as they mature. The freeze messed up...

Another pretty one hanging on- I've been finding several wild weedy flowers that are just now into their blooms. God provides a fashion show all year round!
It is sad to see them die, but I am thankful for their beauty in the next season.
