Have a view of my daily photos or photos from my past. We all need to document the world around us visually. What I see is mostly what you get.

Steam Engine......
This photo of an old steam engine comes from the same file of train shots from the museum visit. I now see that it is only on display as its tracks do not connect to anything, Our country tended to scrap a lot of our old locomotives and to see one that is intact today is special. I don't know anything about the history of it. It maybe was never used in the museums schedule of train trips but one they found to display.
I do remember these traveling down the tracks when I was a kid. The highway 34 was parallel to the train tracks. We could see the smoke stacks and smoke as we traveled along the highway. When I was in my teens they were being fazed out and one doesn't even notice that they are gone until a period of time passes. The stream-lined engines and then the boxy looking engines were common for a while and we saw less and less of the locomotive.

A fine photo and I see touches of color in the trees behind the train. Wishing you both a blessed Sunday.
Glad they put to display such engines to let the modern generation understand the past and history. Here, in our city in south India, once a year they arrange for a ride in old locomotive for brief distance, but I ever seen one live.
