A visit to the old home place gave me a chance to pick a few of the lilies that are in bloom. The day lilies are slow starting up there but I should be able to pick them as they bloom.

Iowa wild rose is the state flower. I keep finding evidence of our hard freeze on different plants as they mature. The freeze messed up...
