Red Twigs......


Red twig dogwood shrubs are yet to put out any new sprouts. I really like the natural red of the stems. The next time I prune back, I think I will take them to the ground or at least leave only three inches.

I have never heard of this!!! It is beautiful, even without leaves and buds.

I always enjoy seeing this red twig dogwood. Our Jap maple's limbs are reddish.

Sedum.....

 The sedum opens all the little flowers to create globes of color. The foliage is healthy this year and has a great contrasting green color ...
