Bookstore Floor....
I am old enough to remember that floor tile squares was a popular floor covering. The tile was a foot square and in most instances it was put down in a checkerboard pattern. The large squares here does look good with their three foot square black and white spaces. My parents built a house in 1959 and the kitchen and dining room areas were covered with tan and brown checkerboard squares. The round tables echo the old time malt shop's but the chairs are just chairs.
