Cottage Garden.....


The mixing of various yearly returning flowers is great but the poblems happen to keep the grass out of the distances between them. The drought was slow to show its face but it did effect the numbers of flowers bloom. The day lilies don't seem so robust this year but they can bloom again next year. I just identified that stray gray branch as Russian sage that is scattered in that garden.

Such a pretty photo. My Stella daylilies have bloomed and now the greenery is turning yellow. Kinda sad looking. It is so hot and dry. I watered early today. John has now hurt his knee and we see an ortho surgeon later this week. He cannot put weight on his leg. Always something! I hope you two have had a good day.
