A Special Birthday...
My wife finds the most interesting, wonderful birthday cards on the net. It was called a Japanese maple tree and the leaves on the base are the authentic shapes. Having faced so many different medical difficulties starting back in July, I am grateful for the remaining health that I have. A special birthday as I advance to 71 years old and there are so many things that I have left to do in this lifetime. I might even go out and buy a Japanese Maple tree for the property.

What a gorgeous card. Let us know if you buy a tree. I noticed today at the new property that there is one tree and it is a Japanese maple!
I wish you a very happy birthday, my friend, and the card by your wife is beautiful and creative to enhance the birthday moment. I think everyone has a list of things to do in a lifetime, and we all try our best to enlist but still, things are left off when we aren't sure enough of it.
Take care
Well, Larry, what a fine birthday tree-card! We love maples and acers, and have two acers in our garden here. Unfortunately neither turns that lovely flame colour: one goes brown and the other deep maroon. Many happy returns, and I'm sorry you have been facing health trials recently.
