So they have bundles of daffodils at the grocery store held together with a rubber band and a sales tag. The are floppy and have not opened up yet. The clerk flops them around and sticks them in a bag. I did get them in water and they immediately started to open. They won't last very long but it is nice to have them early in the season as my own won't bloom for another three weeks.

I love daffodiles !
They are lovely despite being mishandled by the cashier. I hate when the cashier or bag person bruises my fruits.
