I had yard treatments by the professionals for two years in a row and they didn't really stop these beauties. There aren't too many of them though but I was surprised to see these next to the front door.

Peony and Tulips....
The flowers are getting a gentle rain this morning. It makes the soil and sub soil happier as our drought is less these days.

Iowa wild rose is the state flower. I keep finding evidence of our hard freeze on different plants as they mature. The freeze messed up...
