This is my robin's nest for this year It is not located at the same place as last years. I guess I am required to take out the old one so they can go back to that place again. The support beam is there to hold up the deck tat sits next to the fireplace bump out. It had to be there as exxtra reinforcement so it would pass the building inspector's needs.

Always fun to watch the baby birds. I have seen such pretty hanging basket ferns this year but I know the birds would build a nest in them.
Birds love such places to built their nest as I have seen many chose such nooks.
