The angel is waiting to see the rose bush bloom that is above its head. I moved the antique rose from the old place and it is doing well after its being planted for a couple of years. The rose was at the old place growing along the north side of the kitchen. As an addition was built on top of it the corner rose spread around the corner and it now is on the west side of the kitchen. It is tough and blooms every year. The place is over a hundred years old and I always think about the plants history and when it was planted through all thuse years.

Glad the rose is doing well. We inherited jonquils here and I wonder how old they are. The man who lived here was 94 and had been here since the 1960s.
