I love the antics of the downy woodpecker. It crawls around on the grid to get its best position. They would easily be in a horizontal position if it helped to get to the peanut butter suet. Yep, it has been seven days ago when I put up a photo of this guy.

Such a pretty bird and a great photo. We left behind the suet feeders at our last home, I hope the new owner is enjoying the birds. We really do not have good places to put feeders here but we do have two nests currently.
Beautiful bird ! A year I could see a couple in my yard ans some green.
