It is not a partridge in a pear tree. It is almost dove-like but it is gray with a long tail. We have a few birds in a couple of our trees.
A bonus photo of a quail-like bird is also in our tree. If you think it is blurry, it is. They are fun to see in the trees.

Birds are beautiful attachments to trees, and I wonder why we don't have many bird ornaments on the Christmas tree, forgetting that trees are home to birds. I am glad you have some birds on the tree, and I liked the bird's nest. I wish you a happy new year :)
