I have two pots of this plant. In California it grows like a field lily and it readily blooms. In my area it rarely blooms. I bring them inside each fall and enjoy the foliage. I researched the plant on the net and it is suppose to like crowding. It has that in these containers but I bet if it is in the ground in a favorable climate it would grow thinckly like a field lily.
