I looked out yesterday afternoon viewing my neighbor's pool. He had removed the black plastic that covered the water all winter. I saw a duck that looked like a decoy but in reality I could see it dunking his head up and down in the water.
Within minutes a female duck jumped up on the edge and preened herself. They stayed for quite a while until another neighbor lady called to her husband to come see the sight. They instantly were frightened away from the artificial pool.
