It was so windy as I mowed the yard this morning. I had to keep my chin tie on me to keep my sun hat from blowing off to the ground. It is a sporadic strong wind which seems unusaual. We are 89° now this afternoon.

The hybrid iris has perfect form with two great colors too. They are so much a natural form to be much like living sculptures.

Iowa wild rose is the state flower. I keep finding evidence of our hard freeze on different plants as they mature. The freeze messed up...
