The dove eats a few free seeds at the feeder and then takes some time to straighten out the feathers. The deck seems to be one of the favorite places to do this.

I really like the doves from your place, just like those from Martinique Island. Here in winter, a couple comes to peck in the feeder just in front of the kitchen window and then they don't come anymore. On the other hand, at the moment, we have a couple of Pigeons.
