I was so surprised to see a chick-a-dee at my feeder. I haven't photographed one in a couple of years. I assume that it is migration from up north.
The bird can be difficult to photograph as its natural behavior is to grab a seed and fly off to eat it in a tree. They young house finch is showing its brighter colors now.
