I looked over at the front of the garden and saw blue. I thought they were spent crocus but they are hyacinths. The drought has them looking less that normal. The cold air is also keeping them from opening with vigor.

Iowa wild rose is the state flower. I keep finding evidence of our hard freeze on different plants as they mature. The freeze messed up...
