It snowed in the middle of the night so I could retake the shot with snow now. The rail sleds were really a fast sled as it did move smoothly with little resistance in the snow. I remember sliding down our back hill next to the house going way far down the hill and then you had to walk back up again. That was sixty years ago for me.
