Big Bird Sharp Shinned Hawk

I am going to identify it as a Cooper's Hawk. I will be glad to be corrected if I am wrong. I looked out to see the small birds and out in the maple it just sits there. It rotates it head looking in all directions, looking for a bird to capture. I have watched them many times sitting out on the fence tearing into a small bird and devouring it quickly. I have photos of it looking in all directions including directly at me looking over its back.

PS  A friend of mine shared photos and this is not a coopers hawk but a sharp shinned hawk.

Larry, it could be a sharp-shinned hawk. Nice shot !
