I didn't have a clear view of this moon until it had already started to wane. I looked it up and it was shrinking by a few percentage points at this phase.

Hi Larry, this is an amazing photo! I have yet to be able to take photos of the moon, but perhaps one day! I tried one evening...there was a clear sky and it was (I think) a quarter moon, but for the life of me I just couldn't get a photo of it! Thank you so much for sharing, dear friend.
