Blooming in the rain.........


I bought this many years ago and it is the most hearty of iris that I have ever owned. It is called superstition and is advertised as a black iris.  It is a hybrid and it spreads and grows in spite of the wet rainy seasons.  It is tough.

That is a real beauty, I have some that look like it, but don't know if they are 'superstition' or not, they were freebies, when someone was digging up their flowers, and gave them to me. Mine where lovely this year also.

It would need to be tough as much rain as we've had this spring! ha.
I thought of you as I strolled through the garden center this week. :) I was making a mental list of all of the bulbs I'm going to plant in the fall!
