Have a view of my daily photos or photos from my past. We all need to document the world around us visually. What I see is mostly what you get.

Red Maple Leaves
I planted this tree the first year that my wife's dad moved in with us. He was out there supervising the job and was certain that it wasn't going to be a red maple tree. That was nine years ago and I think that this year was it's greatest show of color. It has developed into a good shaped tree. My wife's dad has been gone over two years now and I will always remember the planting of this tree.

It's lovely how plants continue to grow and remind us of others. My sister and I each have cutting from a rose bush that belonged to our grandmother. I have another one from a dear elderly neighbour who has since moved on and trees in my front and back yards were each planted respectively the years my sons were born.
Beautiful leaves, Larry, and I know you and your wife really treasure this tree and the memories of her Dad. Wishing you both a good weekend.
What a sweet story...and that is a beautiful tree. Our neighbors have red maples!
Maple leaves have the coloer of Fall even in springtime and summer.
Mine has all its leaves yet.
Have a nice week-end and HAPPY HALLOWEEN, Larry !
Love this shot!
