Friday's Post.........
The dianthus should be planted in the ground eventually as it will come up in the spring if the winter isn't too severe temperature wise. I had some come up from last year but they didn't do well without a lot of watering. The white geranium seems plain in real life but it photographs beautifully with the leaves making the flowers sharper and clearer.

Crowded.....
The tulip was up first but the peony is now spreading out and shoving the tulip around a bit.

Teddy's legs are a little short for this big wheel but he still likes sitting on it. These shots were buried in my files and this one...

Iowa wild rose is the state flower. I keep finding evidence of our hard freeze on different plants as they mature. The freeze messed up...

Beautiful combination. We searched a few stores today for end of summer plant bargains. We did buy some small clumps of pampas grass to put in strategic places.
