I had a package of special sunflower seeds that did not show this variety in the photo on the package. I know that I have never seen this kind ever before now.

Me too ever seen this variety of sunflower... pretty nice fluffy brush
It isn't tall but that is because they were planted late in the season. I may have to compete with the birds to get seed from it for next year. It is a strange thing.
I see that it is the Teddy Bear variety. I see they are on sale at ebay.
That is the first time I see a sunflower like that.
