We were at the flower shop a week before and saw boxes of flowers sitting around on the floor. It amazes me how our country imports these from South America in bud form and by the the time the florist unpacks them they unfurl to look like this.

Even here they export roses in bud forms and the way they packing the flowers also interesting. Beautiful capture
Roses are so beautiful! Hope you and Della enjoyed Valentine's Day.
I love that rose. What I can't understand is the new idea of putting a sell-by date on wrappings with attached notes saying things like 'you've got five days with these flowers'. Crazy!
