Community Feeder.......
They really do not get along that well but I captured the moment before they started to tangle. The house finches really are the most aggressive and do keep others away from the feeders.
They don’t look so tough but I did read that they too are f rom the sparrow family. I guess they have more attitude toward who controls what territory.

Teddy's legs are a little short for this big wheel but he still likes sitting on it. These shots were buried in my files and this one...

Iowa wild rose is the state flower. I keep finding evidence of our hard freeze on different plants as they mature. The freeze messed up...

Their "attitude" reminds me of Theo's - he THINKS he is a big, bad dog! lol
It has been amazing to watch the different birds at the feeders this winter and learn a bit about their "personalities" and "attitudes" just from observing them. This afternoon I saw a goldfinch, a woodpecker, and a female cardinal all at the feeder at the same time. It wasn't that way when they first started coming to the feeders.
Your picture reminds me of a painting I've seen with different birds lined up in a row. Great catch!
