It seemed like it took forever for these to bloom. I now think of it that they were busy growing tall stems before they could open up a bud and bloom.

Two Blues……
The hybrid iris has perfect form with two great colors too. They are so much a natural form to be much like living sculptures.

Iowa wild rose is the state flower. I keep finding evidence of our hard freeze on different plants as they mature. The freeze messed up...
