It is an interesting angle for the downy woodpecker. The background bird was not planned but it makes it a special shot.

That's a great photo! Such a strikingly colored woodpecker. I guess, without feeders, I should be grateful not to see woodpeckers in my yard! Wouldn't that mean bugs in the tree?
