It finally opened yesterday afternoon on the fern leafed peony. It is its third year being planted next to the fence. Ten blooms will be opening this season despite the threat of two freezing temperatures the past three weeks.
The second bloom is looking like this. I will venture out later when it warms up to get some more photos.
