There are a lot of buds on the Siberian iris. This is the very first one to bloom and it has held out for a couple of days. I usually call these flag iris but I am not sure that it really is that. I will be taking photos of my two main plantings of this every single day as to not to miss a great shot.

We had a couple of these to bloom this year. They are so bright and cheerful.
