Junco Migration....


 

A second junco showed up at the feeder this morning.  They travel down from Canada and Minnesota.  This one is the dark eyed junco

 


 The junco has a distinctly different body type compared to a sparrow.  It has the distinct shape of a beak also with that light orange color.  It will be nice to see them at the feeder for most of the winter.

 It is above freezing now but it won't take off this snow that quickly. It is nice to be outside and I can hear the neighborhood cardina...
