Junco Migration....


 

A second junco showed up at the feeder this morning.  They travel down from Canada and Minnesota.  This one is the dark eyed junco

 


 The junco has a distinctly different body type compared to a sparrow.  It has the distinct shape of a beak also with that light orange color.  It will be nice to see them at the feeder for most of the winter.

 From a small start of this plant I have watched it transform.  It actually outgrew the original start and crowd it out. I had to dispose of...
