My new photo booth gives me chances to experiment with its special lighting on objects. This set of gears is the innards of a Seth Thomas clock. I have parts of it salvaged from my dad's garage. I doubt I will ever recreate it but I do like this as a historic sculpture. The clock is either pendulum driven or was wound up with a key to keep it working.
I researched an image of one of the clocks. This one looks like it has been restored with a new illustration painted on the bottom panel. I have two frames of these clocks with one of them turned into a shelf unit to store items found in a furniture store workroom.

The remnants of the clock look so rustic and delicate. Love it
There is work in perspective to put this old clock in working order.
I really like the Northern Flicker Woodpecker.
Happy New Year Larry !
