A focused shot of the old sunflower and the fuzzy view of the big red bird. I could never get a full body shot but I think it captures the character of the bird.

We did not get the rain that they predicted. The clouds slid by us to the west leaving high and dry again.

Iowa wild rose is the state flower. I keep finding evidence of our hard freeze on different plants as they mature. The freeze messed up...
