We have a lot of people who walk their dogs in our neighborhood. We get so we recognize certain dogs with their people. Sometimes the white Westi has a couple walking it and sometimes a grandson or granddaughter is walking. I met the guy with the Westi one day and he told me his whole life story being from Minnesota until his mom divorced his day and they moved to Ankeny.
This photo shows a cute situation as the boy was taught how to train the dog to walk but he wasn't that good at it. He is a young boy but tries to do the right thing. The wonderful thing is the dog really is just a wiggly pup and he could care less about the commands he was receiving. I couldn't resist getting a distance shot of the happening.
