A rare thing to see this summer is the collection of raindrops on the leaves of plants. It was a small rain of one tenth of an inch but the Siberian Iris leaves collected a few welcomed drops.

Fruit and Cookies....
We have a bounty of fruit for Thanksgiving visitors and also some chocolate chip cookies. It is all good eating.

Iowa wild rose is the state flower. I keep finding evidence of our hard freeze on different plants as they mature. The freeze messed up...
