You wouldn't think fish would have personality but this one has always been at the glass giving off fish impressions. I guess it is his size that makes him look like he is smiling at you but he is always happy. His eyes are looking at you not just staring into the deep. He is an interior decorator like most cichlids as he is always moving the gravel around in the bottom of the tank. I have never named him but he is a beautiful fish.

He sure is beautiful. And you are right...he is smiling! You will have to name him Nate after Nate Burgess who is the interior decorator on HGTV and always on the Oprah show doing room makeovers for people. Nate is pretty cute too.

Gosh, he seriously does look like he's smiling. I could not help but smile when I looked at the photo. I could definitely wake up to this little fella every morning as he smirks out to me through the glass! =)
