Tired Tuesday.......

All dogs, are small in their own minds. Our border collie wants to sit on our lap and lots of big dogs just can't get close enough to their person.
At the dog show, this was apparently down time for this retriever, and his person sat down and picked him up and placed him on his lap. The stuffed duck in the mouth is the icing on the cake.

Lovely shot Larry. Amy (our Wheaten) prefers lying next to us rather than sitting on us and once in place proceeds to try and push us along the chair, bed or whatever we may be sitting on.

That is so cute. My dog Lucy thinks she's a lap dog too! I love the expression on the dog's face holding his duck.

Too funny! My brother had a large retreiver..it would first put one paw up on his lap, then scoot the other paw, then crawl half way up and hang there waiting for him to say okay and he would sheepishly go all the way up on his lap. He was so big he'd hang over both sides, but he would smile like a puppy. They never go beyond being like two year old kids, will they??
