And there is an umbrella in the picture too. I think I took this because of it making just a pretty picture. Red is one of my favorites and I really like large pottery pieces.

Peony and Tulips....
The flowers are getting a gentle rain this morning. It makes the soil and sub soil happier as our drought is less these days.

Iowa wild rose is the state flower. I keep finding evidence of our hard freeze on different plants as they mature. The freeze messed up...

The red pot is such a great focal point and I love the twisty sticks and the grey wall. One of my favourites, Larry. Now you need an Etsy shop to sell your photos on postcards or something.
Sometimes it's the simplest shots that come out best...I like the strong shapes in this.
I really like this picture. I love large pottery pieces too and this one is a beauty.

Hi Larry, I like red too..and have it as an accent color in nearly every room..it is such a cheerful color. Try this shot again..but do just half of the vase in the frame..:)
