It is the patience that we need to see sun and warmth again. Those along the rivers are now threatened with flooding from the snow and the next couple of days of rain. The photo of the sculpture shows how the snow is melting away from the concrete shape.

We had a few sharp booms of thunder this evening along with some lightning. I hope we don't have a year like in June of 2008, we don't need anymore flooding.
Our snow is melting slowly, which is a good thing, if it melts too fast, it floods our basement! I think your rain is headed our way, not looking forward to that!
I hope spring arrives soon.

Wow ! You got a lot of snow ! I thing we do not need floodings, but springtime.
Gosh she looks cold, a bit like how I feel right now. I imagine you will be glad to get rid of the snow altogether.
I moved from Firefox to IE and find I can comment quite well now. It was very frustrating not being able to respond to posts.

LOL..I had to stare at the pic to see what it was. Couldn't make it out at first. Then realized it was an angel sticking out of the snow. Glad angels don't feel the cold. :)
I bet she is waiting...she has weathered out the hard winter and deserves some sunshine on her face...as all of us do!
