Columbine......

This is the only variety that I can grow consistently.  It was starting to get dark outside and the rains are suppose to hit for a couple of days. I went out in my winter coat and shot everything I could before the rain weatherizes everything.  I discovered this and was please that after about eight tries I got one in focus.

This is a really pretty color combination. I bet hummingbirds love this plant.

I love Columbines, they are almost exotic looking. I have a bunch in my garden too!

The ones I have are dark purple and not nearly as pretty as this one.

Hi Larry

I am glad I am not the only one who has trouble with flowers leaping out of focus. Have you read the book about Columbine by Wally Lamb. I loved his first book, This much I know is true....it is one of my all time favourites.

Happy days

Lovely flower. I am tired of cold weather and rain. I did go for a short walk this morning to the Library. But, I carried my umbrella just in case it rained before I walked home.
