Columbine......
This is the only variety that I can grow consistently. It was starting to get dark outside and the rains are suppose to hit for a couple of days. I went out in my winter coat and shot everything I could before the rain weatherizes everything. I discovered this and was please that after about eight tries I got one in focus.

I am glad I am not the only one who has trouble with flowers leaping out of focus. Have you read the book about Columbine by Wally Lamb. I loved his first book, This much I know is true....it is one of my all time favourites.
Happy days
Pretty and elegant flower, Larry !
We had hard rain over night and this morning. I am ready for warm weather.
Wonderful shot. Such a lovely shade.
Lovely flower. I am tired of cold weather and rain. I did go for a short walk this morning to the Library. But, I carried my umbrella just in case it rained before I walked home.
I love them too...remind me of Oregon and wildflowers. I planted a few this spring
