A viignette in the garden........

I love finding almost round rocks along the North Shore of Minnesota. The weathering n the birdhouse is all natural.

The blue rock looks like a bird's egg for sure! Very unique placement of the stones by the birdhouse to look like that! Creative!

That's a great bird house and I too love the placement of the stones. That's a great hobby to search for the round rocks.

It's that combination of colours that strikes me - that reddy-pink of the roof and that off-white of the front of the birdhouse sit perfectly together.

I too thought the rock was a birds egg... great idea to display them by the bird house.

Your round stones are ones I would like to have. We used to pick up some pretty amazing stones along the shores of Lake Superior. Still have many of them but over the past thirty or forty years many of them have combined themselves with the rest of the rocks and dirt. It is hard to spot some unless it is raining and they get wet and then she sparkle like gems.

Old stuff is just better, isn't it? LOL! The round rocks are amazing! What a neat thing to collect.

When I was a child, my brothers and I would have a contest when we in the boat on the big lake. As you know, it is so cold ...!

We would put our arms in the water down to our elbows and see who could hold their arm in the longest. It was never a very long contest!

Take care.

The bird house is nice and I like the little rocks also. Like the rest said, they do kind of look like bird eggs.
