The flowers are getting a gentle rain this morning. It makes the soil and sub soil happier as our drought is less these days.

Iowa wild rose is the state flower. I keep finding evidence of our hard freeze on different plants as they mature. The freeze messed up...

The yellow is stunning with the blue. What is the low ground cover between the stones ~ some sort of creeping thyme?

I have lilies going up to my front door too. Mine are the orange field lilies..don't you love it?
