These coneflowers are so colorful and perfect. Mine are washed out from the heat. Thanks for sharing such a perfect representation of summer! Enjoy the weekend.
Nice Purple Cone Flowers in this patch. I like them. Mine are up from seed but don't look this nice.
Reply about the Cabbage White Butterfly... We have more of these than any other kind and I think it is because we also have a few red-twig dogwood bushes here and they lay eggs on the leaves of that bush. We don't raise cabbage so I guess these leaves are the next best thing.

The purple cone flower is, by far, my favorite summer flower. I like lilacs in the spring and asters in fall -- but in summer, these are my favorite.
I have been away for a few weeks but will take some time to go through your recent posts. I really like the jars and lids.
Take care.
Love the perspective of this shot and of course the gorgeous flowers!
A whole army of cone flowers...very pretty!

Coneflowers are very beautiful and the first sunflower of your previous post, wonderful !
Have a nice week-end, Larry !
A delightful display.

It's been a wonderful year for purple coneflowers. The best I've ever seen in Southern Minn.
These are just lovely..well done! :)
Love how the flowers fade from crisp to out of focus, gives a great perspective
