A view of my poppal tree. Fast growing and sure to be cut down in a few years. It is fast shade but I don't recommend the poppal or popular trees.

That's a great photo of the tree against the sky. Are you still experiencing cold temps? It was near 70 degrees here today. Sitting in traffic at a red light, there was a brand new convertible in front of us with the top down!!!!!
I don't like popples either..they just die and drop their branches and have to be cut down. We have some in the yard..we cut one down last spring that was leaning toward the house..we have several small ones that need to be cut..they are good shade..but that is about it:)
