I transplanted a fernleaf peony last summer and I was so surprised to see it up and blooming. It was planted out in the open in dirct sun and it was the first to bloom.

Peony and Tulips....
The flowers are getting a gentle rain this morning. It makes the soil and sub soil happier as our drought is less these days.

Iowa wild rose is the state flower. I keep finding evidence of our hard freeze on different plants as they mature. The freeze messed up...
