I transplanted a fernleaf peony last summer and I was so surprised to see it up and blooming. It was planted out in the open in dirct sun and it was the first to bloom.

The Morning After....
It is the day after the shortest day and this was what greeted me this morning. The sun is still tucked behind the neighbor's house.

Hi Larry, I remember when you first posted about the fernleaf peony last year. It was the first time I had heard of it. This bloom is so pretty. Love the close up of the center! Hope you are having a nice day.
