Globe Alum.......

My flower bed of alum is about ready to bloom.  We are so hot right now that the present flowers are wilting or are gone way too soon.  We reached over 98 degrees Tuesday and will cool down to 86 degrees today.  It makes it too hot to be outside and work in the garden.

98 degrees! What a leap from rougher weather. It's a splendid picture of the alum.

Pretty photo, Larry. I had no idea it was so hot where you live already. We were in the low 90's the last few days, and it has been uncomfortable to be outside.

What a beautiful flower and amazing photo !
I like it a lot.

It makes it hot here too (in France) and water is missing in gardens and fields !

It almost sounds as if you live in a different country from me. The heat is on here in our house and I'm wearing a fleece jacket. My tomato and pepper plants are still inside, as it's still too cold outside for them. The high temp. today will be 59.

Wow. And I though we had it bad at 85 yesterday.
I had a giant alum once. Maybe the stalk was 4 ft. tall. :)
